Hey, why aren't we home if it's day 41 and we're 41 Days in Japan? Because the official who wrote up my invitation letter wrote "your stay for a period of 41 days in Japan" and I carried this along without double-checking whether this was, in fact, the number of days we'd be in Japan. So much about trusting that people can count just as well as you can! Good thing I've been opening those envelopes of money after all.

We came back from Tokyo today, a bit exhausted and looking forward to coming home, even if the time here has flown by so quickly.
